I need help with knowing which laptop I should choose. Any suggestions???

You would be wrong not to consider a mac, but since you made up your mind, there are a few problems with your choice. If you are going for compatibility, you should downgrade to a different hp with a regular, more widely used 32bit OS, so that all your hardware is compatible with your computer. I would suggest the HP dv6700t. It's cheaper, but it works fine. In addition, you can have Microsoft office and all that other commonly used software pre-installed at HP.com.
