How to sound proof my room?

It will cost you a fortune to sound proof a room. You will also find that if you have a multieffects pedal, you can just plug a good pair of studio quality headphones into that and you won't even need to fire up your amp. I live in an apartment. I have a home recording studio that is powered by a 500 watt stereo amplifier. I record and play back music all day long but, no one even knows I here. Almost everything I do is with headphones. When you have a really good comfortable pair of studio quality headphones, you can practice all day long and it sounds awesome and no one else even knows you exist.
