What should i say about where i was born?

I was born in Ukraine in 1989, at that time ukraine was apart of russia, so when i was born i was born into the USSR, but that part of russia broke off and became ukraine, so when people ask me where im from i usually say ukraine, europe, russia??? which one!?!??
